Mapleson C has the Reservoir bag positioned very close to the patient and can also be used for manual ventilation during resuscitation.
A flow rate of 1.5-2 times of the minute volume is required to avoid rebreathing.

Mapleson F circuit have fresh gas supply close to the patient, breathing bag distant from patient. Configurations with paediatric APL valve or open-tail reservior bag.

The smooth inner side of the tubing reduces turbulence, flow resistance and work of breathing in comparision with some corrugated tube circuits. The kink resistance spiral outer ribs support tube patency ensuring exact delivery of breating gases.

lnteliflo® is a single limb anaesthesia circuit with a double lumen tube divided by a central
longitudinal septum. The septal wall running along the tube length reduces compliance, delivering
accurate gas volumes.
